spiritandsword: (A Little Sad)
When the Lighthouse and the Cottage came back, that meant Annja came back, too, since she had been inside the Cottage when The Nothing had taken it. When she found herself back, still with weapons in her hand, she let them drop onto the shelf and she stepped back.

That would be when she realized that she needed to sit down as her entire body was a little shaky. When she saw the piece of paper that said Remember, she swallowed hard and then closed her eyes.

She remembered the life she had here in Fandom and how much she loved it. She remembered Garin and Roux and everything that had happened to her since she met them. She remembered all of the worlds she had been to and all of the people she had worked with before the Sword came into her life.

She even remembered Kristy and Doug.

Afterwards, when she felt her mind was tired she reached for her cell phone and sent a text message.

Sean? Sean, please tell me that you're all right.

If she came back from non-existence only to find out that he had been hurt she didn't know what she would do.

[[OOC: This would have been posted last night, but migraine and meds knocked me out.]]

There were pancakes and all kinds of other things going on in the kitchen of the Lighthouse Cottage this morning.

Annja and Sean were awakened early and were both making up breakfast for their four daughters that were having way too much fun running about in the cottage and exploring the Lighthouse.

"Shawna and Stana, don't go up those stairs unless Dad and I are with you!" Annja hollered from the kitchen. "Jenna, no, I did not quit college, yet. Psyche, how can you eat five of those things at a time?"

Annja had never realized how hard it would be to keep Garin from actually carrying through with his offer to kill Sean's mother. However, if Sean's sister would refrain from giving Garin new and interesting ideas about it, it would be less of a headache for her. She was beginning to see why so may people always developed drinking problems after this weekend every year.

She supposed that it was a good thing that Savannah was happily engaged as Garin had already expressed to Annja that he would love to take her to bed for a night. "Or a weekend."

Annja was proud of herself for not hitting him and hoped that Sean hadn't heard that.

"Why does she have to meet me, again?" Annja asked Sean, trying to ignore the flirting Garin was doing with her sister-in-law.

So both Roux and Garin had arrived sometime this evening and she really was surprised that they had managed not to kill each other. Apparently, they were trying to work out some sort of truce since both of them were determined to be there for her graduation.

She thought they were perversely amused about the idea of playing her family and watching her graduate high school for the second time in her life. It wasn't as funny to her.

She had stopped by Sean's room and now the two of them were outside of Roux's hotel room where they were meeting both Roux and Garin. She gave Sean a faint smile and knocked on the door.

The brood was, in a word, exhausting. There'd been oh so much activity going on and the kids were only now getting exhausted enough to be quiet. Sean and Annja had finally managed to herd the kids back to the hotel -- with a brief stop at the origami towels -- and now everybody was sprawled out in various places in the room.

There were sleeping bags and air mattresses littering the floor, courtesy of the store. Accordingly, there were little girls scattered around on the floor... except for Jenna, who was rummaging through random dresser drawers to entertain herself. Annja briefly considered telling her to stop, but she was too tired to muster up the energy. Sean could stop her if need be.

Gingerly stepping over a child, Annja collapsed onto the bed.

[For one and their brood!]
spiritandsword: (Angry)
This was not how she had planned on spending her Saturday -- afternoon or evening. She had no idea where these damn annoying things had come from, but she was tired of them.

The thing is, these little bastards had been expecting her to be easy to overwhelm, and then she had pulled out her sword. Even when she started hacking and slashing at them with her sword, they kept coming.

That would be why she showed up at Sean's door, bleeding, annoyed as all hell... and probably glowing from the fighting like she usually seemed to do.
